End Of The Year Updates!

Vocal Music Students:

Congratulations on a fantastic, memorable school year!  I truly hope each and every one of you has an enjoyable, exciting, relaxing, and fun summer vacation.  As we bring this year to a close and start looking forward to the next one, I have some updates for you:

FINAL EXAMS:
Final Assessments have now been graded and emailed back to you.  If you did not receive an assessment, please email me.

LEADERSHIP FOR 2016-2017
I will be in touch very soon regarding section leaders.

CALENDAR 2016-2017
All Calendar dates have now been approved and are posted on the website.  You will receive a copy of this Calendar later in the summer.

DROPBOX:
Currently being updated with music and recordings being added.  Please keep checking in over the summer.  As repertoire is chosen and recordings are found, music will be added.  Additionally the recordings for Choir and Jazz Choir will be posted once they are finished.

SUMMER PRACTICE PLANS
Remember to put together a Summer Practice Plan incorporating the goals that I set for you in your final assessments.  It is essential that you keep singing and working over the summer to prepare for the upcoming school year.

VOICE LESSONS
If you are interested in Voice Lessons either during the summer or throughout the school year, please contact me and I will put you in touch with our adjunct faculty member: Jill Noddin.

Important Choir Updates!

Vocal Music Students:

FINAL EXAMS:
Concert Choir -- please submit your Delightful Pleasant Groves recording along with 2 Scales to foxborochoir@gmail.com (You Have Until Tuesday June 14)
Jazz Choir -- learn a standard from the packet and be ready to sing it during the Final Exam block

LEADERSHIP FOR 2016-2017
If you are interested in being a section leader for 2016-2017, please email me a letter of intent stating why you feel you would make a great section leader.

WEBSITE UPDATES:
- Honors Vocal Jazz Audition information for Fall 2016 has now been posted.  You can find this information by clicking on the Vocal Jazz Tab at the top of this page.
- A Tentative Calendar for 2016-2017 has now been posted--you can check it out by clicking on the Calendar Tab

DROPBOX:
Currently being updated with music and recordings being added.  Please keep checking in so you can get your summer materials.

LIBRARY:
Still need library help!  PLEASE bring a laptop/tablet with you during Finals Week and help after school if you are available!

JAZZ CAMP:
Still room available for anyone who would like to participate in the Summer Jazz Improvisation Camp.  The camp runs June 20-24.  More information can be found by clicking here

SUMMER PRACTICE PLANS
The time is now to start thinking about a practice plan for the summer.  I will be touching base with each of you in response to your Concert Choir final exam recordings.  Remember--if you want to be a leader in your section, you must lead by example!  This means practicing routinely and working hard to turn your weaknesses into strengths!
