July Summer Updates!

Happy Summer!

I hope you are all well!  Thank you to those of you who helped out with SIMC...you rock!  Just wanted to pass along a couple quick updates.  

First, keep an eye out on Dropbox over the next week.  There will be several updates including curriculums for Choir, Vocal Jazz and Lab Jazz!  There are new charts for VJE posted now (Radio Song and Rainy Days and Mondays). Also, you will find Recordings and Part Tracks.  Over the summer, casual listening of the recordings and part tracks can help you be more prepared for the start of the year.

Second, our masterwork for the Fall is the Faure Requiem!  This is an incredible masterwork for choir, soloists, and orchestra!  You will love this experience.  We will once again be pairing with KPHS.  You can find a digital score and recording on Dropbox now! Part tracks to come in the next couple days.

Finally, check your emails for updates regarding the Choir summer social event hosted by your Section Leaders (event was posted on Instagram)!

Summer Updates!

I hope you are having a wonderful, restful summer so far!

Remember to plan out a routine practice and listening schedule for yourself.  This will help you be very prepared coming into the fall.

Keep an eye on the Choir Dropbox over the next few weeks for updates--especially recordings.  I will post here as well when the curriculum for 2017-2018 is finished.  You can start by checking out Faure Requiem for Voices and Strings.

Our summer meet up will be August 25 (anyone can attend!).  More details to follow!
